    Hello Derek

Derek thank for pointing out that the most important reason to consider using MindMeister, is because it allows one to take the thoughts they think about on a daily basis and actually map them out in a logical order. After watching the video one can see the power of organizing thoughts. As for me if I just list all my thought and use the system to organize them it will be a big plus. What I tend to do is think many thoughts and then try to organize them in my mind and the result many thoughts are lost and never acted upon. Thanks for sharing the information.

    Hi Derek,

Great post, and what I really like about it is the feature you can use it with your smart phone. As when I travel for work or go to seminars I love to use that time in a worthwhile way and often use my phone. I will be delighted to share this post on my Facebook page. All the best Rosemary

  4. Hi Derek,

I’ve been mind mapping by hand for the past seven years. I’ve heard of mind mapping software, but haven’t actually used it. This looks simple and doable… and very helpful. Thanks for sharing!

      Willena,

Thanks for sharing! I’ve personally used this software to make HUGE plans and see projects all the way through to the end.

Should I hold a mini webinar to help people get started? I think that would be fun!

I’ve looked at mind mapping programs, but I’ve never used them. I have found that when a presenter is using the software while giving a presentation it helps to have the visual when learning the specific strategies being taught.

One more thing that I’ll have to take a look at and possibly put into my business tool box.

    Hi Dereck,

Well finally there’s a practical software to utilize mind mapping.

Definitely a welcome relief after doing it manually on paper.

The other options really take it to the next level!

Hi Derek, I first learnt about mind maps when I went to university many years ago. In those days there was no software to develop them on the computer, we drew them by hand. I found them VERY powerful for memorizing what I needed to learn, because I could remember the map very easily. I would go into the exam room, and be able to recall everything on each of my maps. So… provided I learnt the things that were in the exam, I did great!

Mindmeister looks like a great tool, thanks for sharing it Derek. Regards from Julieanne

    Hi Dereck,

That looks like a great tool! So wonderful that it’s collaborative as well.

I wonder if it works with video conference – I know I can share my screen with people in the conference so I guess that would be the way to do it… I think this kind of mind map is a great way to illustrate a plan – I think I’ll try it on my IWowWe conference later!

Thank you so much, I love hearing about new tools!

    Emma :-)
