Onlywire Review – One Push to Bookmark Everywhere
Posted on 08. Jun, 2011 by Dereck Arreguin in Tool Review

OnlyWire is a syndication system that allows you and others to share content across a vast network of Web 2.0 and social media sites. Some of the benefits of using OnlyWires is that you can gain nearly 42 sites. I personally have around 30 -36 of these sites currently being used (personal reasons).
To get stated with OnlyWire, all you have to do is SIGN UP and make sure all of your social media accounts are all lined up in the process. Fortunately, its very simple and easy to set up all of your accounts and when you do, it makes the entire process all that much quicker.
When you sign up with OnlyWire, you have a few options to sign up for. Even when some are paid for, it is suggested (by myself) to go with the 1.000 Submission account. Take it from me, 1,000 submissions when you are hitting each blog post at 30-36, will eat up your limit really quick.

Also, when you sign up you have a chance to have the OnlyWire team fill in all of your CAPTCHA forms for you. Some of the social sites you connect with will require this to allow third party sites to submit information for you. Trust me, its a MAJOR save of time and streamlines the process so you can do other things you want to accomplish. Plus, who likes those anyway?
You can also include an OnlyWire plugin on your blog. This allows other OnlyWire users to syndicate your content with ease and simplicity. Just imagine you tagging your content over 40+ sites and gaining support by followers who all do the same. Do you think that would help your website’s rankings?
Not only does OnlyWire offer a simple way of syndicating your content and others, but they also offer a great deal of other simple applications that you can use. You can also use their Browser Bookmark installation and Smart Phone App to better assit you in your mission for mass exposure.
In result, I believe that OnlyWire will not only save you time, but also increase your leverage as you syndicate your information all over the web and also provide a way for others to do the same. This is essentially a tool you MUST HAVE if you are interested in blogging or using a blog here or in the future.
In fact, if you are using OnlyWire currently, make sure to tag this blog positing illustrating the true power of this platform, it’s appreciated!

I’m giving onlywire a shot, since it seems very practical. I’m using it for my site http://www.yourphlebotomytrainingguide.com and I’m hoping it will prove to be very beneficial. I’m using the plugin via wordpress, and right now it’s been an hour since I’ve submitted, and they are still processing (I’m hoping there isn’t something I’ve missed). I’m using the free version right now so I have no idea if it’s something I’m missing.

Derrick, great post video and screenshots. I am enjoying the convenience of the Onlywire Firefox Plugin Toolbar. There are so many social media tools but finding time efficient ways to use them is the key. Onlywire really does this. What do you use to make your videos?

Hi Dereck:
I haven’t used Onlywire for a while. I was getting tired of all the fails and captcha’s. I used it faithfully for over a year and I never really saw any benefit from it. Maybe I will have to go back and try it again.

Kevin,
Try using it with TribePro. I find it to be useful and powerful. not to mention a massive time saver. Also… no new blogs should use this method at the start.
With all the backlinks and bookmarking going on, it doesn’t look natural and might cause the blog to become “flagged”.

Hi Derreck,
Thanks for explaining OnlyWire and how it works. I’d heard of it before, but haven’t used it. I appreciate those who commented about the problems with OnlyWire and WP. It’s certainly something to keep in mind if I do decide to use it.

I used Only wire during the free trial and really liked it. I have decided that I did not want to pay for the service, but can see why people would.
Thanks for the great review, it is very helpful.

I’ve heard of Onlywire, but I’ve never looked into it before. After reading your blog, I’m interested in checking it out. Thanks for the info.

Great info, and really nice presentation, Dereck.
I’m actually in the process of setting up OnlyWire but don’t intend to use it on my WP blog because too many people have had problems on WP with it. Also, I’ve heard it really slows down the download time for your blog. I do intend to make my own submissions through it though, so thanks for this info that helps give me a better working knowledge of it.

Great post Dereck. I’ve been in love with onlywire since I first started my blog in ’09. Thank you for the review.

Hi Dereck,
Interesting timing. I had been using Onlywire for quite some time but just recently had to pull the plugin as it causes problems with my WordPress site. Perhaps in time, they’ll learn to play nicely with each other again but in the meantime, it looks like I’ll be using Ping.fm.
Thanks for your post.

I couldn’t have found this article at a better time. I just downloaded OnlyWire a couple of days ago and have been putting off understanding how it works.
With the information that you have provided here you can expect to see http://www.moneyadviceexpert.com/ broadcast throughout the social media in the future.

Great post man. I use Onlywire to syndicate my new content. It is a fantastic tool that streamlines submitting your content to the social sites. I’m all about automating as much of the repetitive stuff as possible. People should be using it to get their content syndicated and syndicate their own stuff with this. For those in TSA this tool is even more powerful. It did take me a long time to set up all the accounts – I’m probably just slow. lol.
Thanks Dereck

Dereck,
Very informative post about Onlywire. I had been using it but it caused a problem on my WordPress site. That was a while back. Looks like it’s time to try it again.
Speaking of having difficulties. If you have a suggestion about Comment plugins I’d appreciate hearing about it. Disqus caused a problem too.
Thanks,
RICK

I have tried out Onlywire, about a year ago, and didn’t have much success. It was full of glitches and unreliable. When I manage SEO for my clients, I need to be sure I can show were different pages have been bookmarked and in using Onlywire I found it didn’t take on all the sites. However, I’m sure that they have improved leaps and bounds in a year, so I would be willing to give them another chance if you are happy with your experience now. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Dereck!
Thanks for the thorough information on OnlyWire – what a great way to syndicate and get better rankings with the Search Engines. I’m going to give the free version a try but appreciate your recommendation to get the 1000 submission version for only $10 – sounds like tremendous value. Setting aside the 60 minutes for setting it up is time well spent for this powerful tool.

Hey Dereck, This looks great. I’m definitely going to give it a try, but I think just through the set up and first submission I’m going to opt for the “free” version. Only reason is I just quickly looked at the WP plugin in and the rating was only 3 star and from the comments it seems there have been a few glitches. Looking forward to testing this out – thanks!

Hi Derreck,
I ahve heard of onlywire before. After reading this article, I am going to look into it further.
Syndication can be very time consuming,a nd anything that simplifies it without making everything too mechanical is great.

Hello Dereck,
Sadie here in France, I found yur site via the TSA;- Thanks for this informative post on Onlywire.
I use something similar for submitting to multiple sites;- live directories and article site but it does not include Social Media accounts. The one I use is from http://magicsubmitter.biz it’s very easy to use too once you have taken the time to set up the profile which is a little time consuming but them most things which are worth while do start out like that in my experience!
Dereck, what proportion of your socializing on social media sites do you do manually and how much is automated?
I am very wary of being seem as a auto poster you see! Some Facebook pages I visit seem that the owner never logs in via Facebook and reposted their content from other dashboards or via other sites. For me that is not really encouraging me to be sociable on such a page as I would have the impression that the owner wouldn’t show up to read it!
Thanks for writing the post and I love to have video overview, my brain like visual!
I noticed that you are not using Comment Luv on your site and wondered if there was a reason you had opted against it?
Have a smashing end to you week however you are spending it.

Sadie,
Its recommended to broadcast to the channels you don’t frequent. So, I keep my most valuable real estate (like facebook) to manual submissions.
I don’t use Comment Luv because it doesn’t into the plan for this website.
Thanks for stopping by.
