Twitter Feed : Automate Your Message Today

Posted on 25. Jul, 2011 by in Internet Marketing

With the internet being so vast and filled with so much information, it’s hard to share the most important messages with your followers. Normally, you would have your favorite blogs to read, but even when you dedicate time to reading them from time to time, you always seem to miss something.

Not to mention, you miss the opportunity to share it with others.

Plus, with social media applications actually suggesting and maybe even requiring you to be active (Empire Avenue), it’s hard to be everywhere and do everything all at once. Not to mention, if you are a blogger, it’s sometimes difficult to have your message broadcasted out to every social media site in your arsenal.

  • Consider TribePro for automated team syndication
  • Consider using Onlywire to ping your postings to 40 different social media sites with a push of one button

But what about your more precious social media sites that hold a larger value than others; your facebook fan page. How do you keep those who follow you engaged and up to date on all the local gossip?

There’s simply more things acquiring more of your time than you know what to do with (especially if you run a business). What you need more than anything, is more automation.

Today, we’re covering a simple little system that can be used to update your facebook wall, facebook fan page, and or twitter (just to name a few) automatically by adding ANY RSS feed from any site found online.

Key notes to remember:

  1. To add an RSS feed, all you simply need to include is /feed at the end of the URL
  2. This includes to specific pages as well (EXAMPLE: http://www.mashable.com/business/feeed)

In the video above, I’ve included three different sources of feed material going to twitter and to my facebook fan page.

1.) http://www.dereckarreguin.com/feed
2.) http://www.mashable.com/business/feed
3.) http://www.randygage.com/feed

Now, every time any of those sites publish new content, TwitterFeed will now automatically update to my linked social media accounts for me.

This saves me time by:

  • Going there and posting material there myself
  • Helps me to feed my followers with the best most relevant and timely information
  • Helps me to increase my authority as being a source of information or news

Plus, if you are using the new social media tool called EmpireAvenue (a place to place a value on your social equity), then you can use TwitterFeed to increase your value and watch your stock grow. Make sure to include TwitterFeed into your daily business or blogging routine. It will prove to save you time and maybe a little money.

    Hi Dereck:

I love coming to your blog because I always learn new things. :) I have never used Twitterfeed but I am on my way to check it out. I have used su.pr for automating my tweets but this looks like I can do a lot more.

Sometimes you just need a bonk on the head. I have been using Twitterfeed for about 2 years. I publish content all over the place.

But I had never thought about it for my fanpage. With all the other online tasks I do, I have been neglecting my fanpage.

Thank you for the bonk on the head.

Twitter Feed is such a great little app/site I think the surface has only been scratched of course the obvious being posting to twitter and FB and have read some other articles about what is possible and it really is a bit confusing but once someone gets the basics its all about leveraging it to get done what you want.

    Nice video

    Hi Dereck,
TwitterFeed’s an awesome tool and great way to leverage time. Nice to be able to have a tool that lines up our social media sites and keeps things automated so we can focus our attention on other aspects of our business. I don’t use TribePro but will give it a try; everything we can do to help with building backlinks is so important. Thanks for the tip!

Hi Dereck, great tips. I’m using Onlywire and Social Oomph (for Twitter) … TribePro didn’t work out for me. I think it’s great if your niche is social networking, MLM and the like, but not so much for personal development. I have had very good results with TSA Mastery and Clever Marketing Masterminds Community.

      Hey Marty,

TribePro is more than just a syndication system, it’s also a massive backlin builder. It’s very important to make sure you include that as long as you have all of your SEO lined up. Contact me if you want to learn how using TribePro can increase your viewership on a regular basis. :D
